2. Secure Your Visa:

To proceed, we'll require a deposit or full payment, depending on when your trip starts. After you pay, we'll send you the visa approval. Your passport will be stamped with the actual visa upon arrival in Bhutan.

3. Book Your Tour Package:

Choose your travel dates and route. We'll handle the flight bookings and all other logistics, ensuring a stress-free trip with everything planned in advance.

4. Prepare for Your Trip:

You'll receive a detailed travel package with helpful information. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months. Then, head to the airport and embark on your journey to the Land of the Thunder Dragon.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a visa to enter Bhutan?

Yes, all visitors need a visa to enter Bhutan, except for visitors from India, who require a permit. Nationals of Bangladesh and the Maldives, as well as nationals of Switzerland and Thailand who hold diplomatic or government-official passports, are also eligible for a visa on arrival at their port of entry. Indian nationals under the age of 18 may enter with a birth certificate or passport and must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

How do I apply for a Visa and Permit?

Tourists can apply for their visa or permit through this website, or they can engage tourism service providers to process their visa or permit. Although Bangladeshi and Maldivian tourists can process their visas on arrival at the port of entry, it is recommended that these be applied in advance to reduce the wait time.

What documents do I need for a Visa?

For Tourists: A digital copy of your passport (valid for six months from the intended date of departure) and a recent digital passport-size photograph.

What documents do I need for a permit?

For Tourists: A digital copy of your passport or voter ID card. Those under the age of 18 can use a birth certificate or passport and must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

How much is the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF)?

For all visitors except those from India, the SDF is USD 200 per person, per night. For guests from India, the SDF is 1,200 Indian rupees, per person, per night. Children under six are exempt from paying any SDF. Effective 01 September 2023, a 50% discount on the SDF has been announced for US Dollar paying tourists, valid until 31 August 2027.
